Briana Lee – Brand Ambassador of the Month

With an impressive track record within the promo industry, Briana came out of the gate strong at her very first events with Oxford Marketing. She received great client reviews and went above and beyond in all of her efforts as team manager. We are thrilled to feature her as our latest Brand Ambassador of the Month!

Congrats to Briana for being selected as our BA of the Month! She’s received a $25 Amazon gift card as recognition for her outstanding work.

How long have you been doing promos?

I started doing promotional events when I was 16 years old, but I have been doing them full time for the last 8 years.

Do you have a favorite Oxford Marketing event that you’ve worked?

The Beyblade competition at Mall of America was a total blast! I loved working with the kids and seeing their level of sportsmanship in friendly competition.

What do you enjoy most about being in this industry?

I love the freedom this industry provides. We are able to pick and choose what brands we want to represent, what companies to work for, what days we want off, etc. I like having a full time job that allows me the freedom to “work to live” (and travel!) instead of living to work. I love that no two days are the same, and each new event is an opportunity to try something new and learn something new. I’m also lucky to have coworkers who possess the same outgoing and adventurous spirit, it makes long days fly by and I have met some really wonderful people all over the country!

In your opinion, what skills should every brand ambassador possess?

Every brand ambassador should be approachable, friendly, genuine, adaptable and proactive. They shouldn’t be afraid to get their hands a little dirty with setups. They should smile easily and lead by example. Most importantly, they should strive to treat each consumer like the client. We need to always remember that we are the face of a brand, events aren’t about us, they are about the consumer.

What are some hobbies that you enjoy when you aren’t working events?

When I am not working experiential marketing events, I also work in film production as an assistant director and production assistant. My passion is indie film, especially thriller/horror films. I run the social media for the Twin Cities Film Fest and I look forward to our 11 day festival every year and watching new films that were created nationwide by talented storytellers and artists. I also travel as often as possible.

If money weren’t an issue, what is one thing you would spend it on without hesitation?

I would jump on a cruise ship and sail around the world until I ran out of places to see and experiences to have. My bucket list includes visiting every country and to try everything once. 15 down. 🙂
